Task
In 2022, Think Jam were invited to pitch to Warner Bros. for their Horror Icons Instagram page. We were asked to pitch a complete creative refresh, as well as ideas on how best to engage with the fandom for their complete horror catalogue. I was fortunate enough to take a lead role in this pitch, and it was a passion project for me as I’m a big horror fan. Working alongside my Creative Director, I explored multiple style routes, before developing the final creative guidelines we would eventually implement across the page. I really wanted a consistent look and feel that leaned into the heavy metal look and feel of the horror genre and it’s community. Once the pitch was won, I was entrusted as brand guardian for the page, overseeing all creative delivered. I delivered a range of formats including;
• Video edits.
• Destructive platform reels.
• Pop culture relevant content, leaning into trends and tactical dates.
• Content promoting releases of consumer products.
• Interactive IG stories and reels.
Results
Launched a complete brand refresh of the Horror Icons Instagram page.
Developed multiple style routes for the client to choose from, ranging from 80’s neon nostalgia to goth culture.
Delivered the final style guide, including an in-depth handover of IP rules and tone of voice to be used across the studio.
Built a series of templated elements & transitions for the team to use for consistency.
Weekly community-focused formats, including UGC showcases and quizzes.
