Opinion Piece: HBO’s The Last of Us

As a die-hard fan of The Last of Us, I couldn’t stop talking about why I felt it succeeded as a video game adaptation - a rare feat! I was asked by the team at Think Jam to write an opinion piece, from the perspective of a lifelong gamer and fan of the original series.

I decided to write about Episode 3, ‘Long, Long Time’, as I felt it effectively subverted expectations of both existing fans of the game, as well as first-time viewers.

British GQ: Ask The Intern (Interview)

During my year internship at Warner Bros., I was chosen by the recruitment team to be interviewed in British GQ's new 'Ask the Intern' feature.

This was only the second issue to include this new Q&A column, with the March edition themed around the Oscars.

Warner Bros Placements: Success Story

I was chosen, as part of a handful of interns, to partake in the 'Success Story' interview featured on Warnerbrosplacement.co.uk, where I describe my role at Warner Bros and what I enjoy.

ASBO Magazine

ASBO Magazine approached me about featuring one of my D&AD pieces as one of the fake adverts in their International Graduate issue. They were inspired by the amount of parody & concept ads at D&AD and wanted to incorporate them as look-a-likes into the magazine. My ‘Air Spideys’ concept ad appeared in the opening DPS.

The conceptual Nike print ad showcased a brand partnership between Marvel & Nike with the launch of ‘Air Spideys’. This print piece featured the hero shoe product and was only one component of a conceptual Nike/Marvel Entertainment brand partnership to promote Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Another component I also exhibited were conceptual mock ups of a retailtainment takeover in Niketown London.
