“Holy shopping list, Batman!”
Task
Part of my role as Creative & Marketing intern at Warner Bros. required me to update the insert included inside all DC home entertainment titles. Inserts I produced during my time at the company were included in major film releases such as Suicide Squad, as well as the AAA Injustice 2 game. During my internship, I worked with the DC Franchise Manager to refresh the previous 2-sided insert, into a 4 page cross-divisional leaflet. This redesign provided other divisions with an opportunity to feature their key releases from Consumer Products, TV, Home Entertainment, Theatrical and Games. The insert was a super fan’s guide to ‘continue your journey into the DC Universe’.
Results
The 2017 refreshed leaflet is featured in multiple key titles, including Wonder Woman.
Previous design only allowed for 2 Home Entertainment titles to be featured, whilst the redesign now gave other department’s the ability to push upcoming hero products to key audiences.
Bespoke leaflets were produced to feature relevant content that would attract audiences of the title it came with.
