“What’s your favourite scary stream?”
Task
To help launch Call of Duty: Warzone’s Halloween Seasonal Event, The Haunting, we set up a 90-minute live stream of a masked streamer slashing their way through Verdansk. Who was this suspiciously-masked streamer, you ask? Well, that was up to their brave squadmates, aided by viewers, to figure out. This was a dream project for me and I was fortunate enough to be heavily involved in multiple areas, which included;
• Leading the motion design element for the stream’s graphics package, working with adapted key art.
• Working with my Creative Director to plan the stream’s design and schedule.
• Developing the tone of voice, copywriting scripts for our streamer and social copy.
• Providing my gaming industry knowledge to the team, suggesting streamers and gaming mechanics.
• Pitching ideas to the team at Activision, showing my passion and knowledge of the franchise.
Results
Stream reached 4k+ viewers on Call of Duty’s YouTube.
Reached 1.5k+ viewers on Call of Duty’s Twitch.
Stream Highlights video reached 61k+ on Call of Duty’s YouTube channel.
