“Accio, Hogwarts letter!”

Task

Following the theatrical release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, I was given the responsibility of organising and managing a Christmas social media competition. The aim of the activation was to drive engagement of Wizarding World fans at a time of year where social presence is so strong. This meant that timing the activation’s touchpoints was key. I was responsible for:
• the curation of appropriate giveaway products
• the correspondence of licensees on their involvement and approval
• producing the social assets
• copywriting
• aligning with the Digital Marketing team to create the most effective posting schedule.

Results

  • Overwhelming response with over 15,945 retweets by the end of the campaign.

  • Keeping Wizarding World fans engaged over holiday season.
